
The HT-EX Rotary valves are used for transferring dry powders and granulates out of filter housings, cyclones, silos and hoppers, in situations where there is need for an “explosionbarrier” according to ATEX directives. This type of rotary valve is equipped with Pu rotorblades (4mm) and is explosionproof and flame transition resistant up to 1.7 bar.
The rotary valves can also be used for metering dry, powdered or granulated products from a storage hopper or silo into a mixer, grinding mill, conveyor screw, dryer or cooler. Apart from functioning as a metering device, these rotary valves, in most of the mentioned situations, act as an “airlock” in the conveying system in order to maintain a certain pressure differential.
